Washing:
1、Use a gentle, neutral detergent or silk-specific detergent. Wash in warm water below 30°C (86°F).
2、It is recommended to place the comforter in a laundry bag during washing, and wash the inner and outer layers separately.
Drying:
1、After washing, carefully stretch the comforter along its length and width before air drying, as silk can shrink easily.
2、Dry in a well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight or using a dryer.
3、Always follow the care label instructions for best results.
Storage:
1、Before storing, air the comforter in a cool place. Store in a dry, ventilated, and cool environment. Avoid damp, hot, or vacuum-sealed conditions to prevent moisture, odor, and mildew.
2、Do not use mothballs or chemical agents, as they can contaminate and damage the silk.
3、Avoid heavy pressure during storage to maintain the comforter’s natural loft and softness.

Finally a silk quilt that doesn't make me nervous about cleaning

My mom always said a good silk quilt is an investment, but she also said never to get it dirty because you can't wash it. This one changes that. I've had it three weeks, spilled tea on it once, washed it on gentle per the instructions, and it came out looking the same — no clumping, no weird shrinkage. The cotton cover breathes way better than the microfiber comforter we had before, and I'm not waking up sweaty at 3am anymore. It's lighter than a down comforter but just as warm. The Class A safety rating matters to me because my toddler sometimes crawls into bed with us. Honestly the best bedding purchase I've made since moving here.

Soft, pretty color, zero weird smell

Got the purple one for the guest room and it's even softer than I expected. The color is a muted mauve — not shiny or cheap-looking. I was worried about that factory chemical smell you get with some bedding, but there was nothing. Aired it out for an afternoon and it was ready to use. Lightweight but warm enough for AC nights. The bag it came in is actually nice, not one of those throwaway plastic ones.

Checked the label myself — 100% silk, and you can actually wash it

I've been buying silk quilts from China for years and was skeptical about ordering one online here. The first thing I did was check the label — 100% cotton cover, 100% long-fiber silk fill, 1200g for the King size, exactly as described. What really sold me is that it's washable. Every silk quilt I've owned before was dry-clean only, which meant it slowly accumulated dust and that old-fabric smell. This one I can throw in on gentle and it comes out fine. No duvet cover needed either — the cotton is soft enough to use directly. No chemical smell out of the package, and the storage bag is nice enough that I'm keeping it for travel. My husband thinks I'm crazy for caring this much about a quilt, but he's the one stealing it now.
